Job Responsibility

  • Manage production and staging environment databases
  • Identify and implement performance improvements for query operations
  • Collaborate with product teams to enhance the data warehouse
  • Design, implement, and monitor disaster recovery plans with engineering and DBA teams
  • Conduct technical troubleshooting and bug fixing
  • Maintain and operate existing systems for stable performance
  • Operate, monitor, and performance tune NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in the IT industry
  • Proven experience in automated deployment and configuration management for database infrastructure
  • Proficiency in automation, scripting, and development using Shell Scripting and Python
  • Ability to deliver code of the highest quality and standards
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining database systems
  • Experience operating various database products like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Couchbase, and Cassandra
  • Experience in implementing robust backup and recovery procedures
