Job Description:

The Data Platforms team within the Data, CRM & Integration department urgently seeks a skilled Database Developer to join our client’s Lenexa office. This 3–6-month contract role, with potential for extension, focuses on maintaining and enhancing critical data systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS jobs and SQL stored procedures
  • Manage and update database schemas for on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Marts
  • Monitor overnight jobs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly
  • Perform DBA tasks, including performance management, patching, and application upgrades for the Data Warehouse and OLTP SQL Server databases
  • Optionally, contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Database Developer
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL
  • Experience maintaining database schemas and monitoring data processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Lenexa

Nice to have:

  • DBA experience with SQL Server performance management, patching, and upgrades
  • Familiarity with SSRS Reports and Power BI
