Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica and programming knowledge in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business data needs and analytics initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views for high performance and scalability
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud)
  • Integrate and automate data flows between systems using Python for custom scripts and applications
  • Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions
  • Implement performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies for large datasets
  • Maintain data security, compliance, and documentation of ETL and database processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or ETL Developer
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud
  • Programming experience in Java or Python (for automation, data integration, or API handling)
  • Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and performance tuning
  • Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting
  • Experience in data modeling and data governance frameworks
