Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of hands-on database architecture experience across production environments, with demonstrated experience engaging at solution / system design level
Strong proficiency in at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent)

Design, implement, and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and access patterns
manage full database lifecycle (provisioning, patching, migration, decommissioning)
Analyze how application code interacts with the database layer
identify N+1 queries, ORM anti-patterns, and connection pool misconfigurations in collaboration with backend engineers
