Job Description

Are you a business intelligence professional passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Our client is seeking a self-motivated Database Applications Administrator to fill a key role focused on enterprise analytics and reporting. You will work closely with platforms including SAGE Intacct, Salesforce, and Snowflake, leading initiatives to extract, model, and visualize data that empowers stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, visualizations) using Power BI, Salesforce, and other tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver solutions tailored to business needs
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from Snowflake Data Warehouse and additional sources
  • Guarantee data accuracy and consistency through thorough validation and quality control
  • Provide training and end-user support for BI tools and reporting (as needed, in partnership with team)
  • Troubleshoot BI tool, report, and data pipeline issues to ensure reliability
  • Document processes, best practices, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing
  • Effectively manage concurrent projects and deliverables against strict timelines
  • Remain agile and adaptable as priorities shift
  • Support team on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience developing BI reports and dashboards
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Sigma, or similar platforms (4–5 years)
  • Strong SQL querying and data analysis capabilities (2–3 years)
  • Familiarity with tools/platforms: Paycom, Salesforce, Sage, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal—comfortable presenting to executives and staff alike
  • Advanced analytical thinking, problem-solving, and independent work ethic
  • Energetic, self-driven, and proactive with strong judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and education verification
