Job Description

The candidate must have skill and 15 years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms: 1. DB2 for z/OS 2. SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 2. Oracle 10g and above 3. Experience with the FDOT integrated database infrastructure is a plus. 4. Knowledge of the FDOT Financial Management applications is a plus. 5. Knowledge of the FDOT integrated application environment is a plus

Job Responsibility

  • Perform database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, GIS) planning and operational activities
  • Daily operational and database administration activities
  • Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
  • Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
  • Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
  • Perform SQL Code reviews
  • Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff
  • Perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
