Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position within the Healthcare industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to impactful data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, analytics, and reporting, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and manage data collection processes to support advanced analytics and performance measurement
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to present data insights effectively to business leaders and stakeholders
  • Monitor and enhance database systems to ensure optimal performance and address emerging business needs
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data design, requirements, and user guides
  • Perform regular data analysis to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Ensure data security and governance by adhering to best practices and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored data solutions
  • Provide training and support to team members, promoting a data-driven culture within the organization
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems to maintain efficiency
  • Utilize business intelligence tools such as Power BI and advanced analytics techniques to generate meaningful insights

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a human resources context
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, MySQL, and Oracle
  • Advanced skills in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, as well as programming languages like Python or R
  • Demonstrated experience in developing dashboards and analyzing HR metrics, including turnover, attrition, and talent acquisition
  • Strong ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and database optimization techniques
  • Commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and security in all initiatives
