In this role, you will operate with limited supervision as part of an internal Data & Analytics team, supporting enterprise business intelligence initiatives that transform raw data into actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders. The position is responsible for designing and delivering reporting solutions, including data modeling, data integration, metadata management, and the development of static, interactive, and subscription-based reports and dashboards.
Job Responsibility:
Design and maintain data infrastructure that enables secure access to curated data sets for approved users
Identify and integrate internal and external data sources by collaborating with business and technical subject matter experts to understand data structures, usage needs, and reporting requirements
Administer and support SQL Server environments, including database maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades, and issue resolution
Contribute to the design, maintenance, and evolution of conceptual and logical enterprise data models supporting data warehouse, data mart, and OLAP solutions
Develop and maintain database solutions to support data storage, retrieval, and analytics use cases
Own and support the full data pipeline, from ingesting raw data through transformation and integration into data warehouses, operational data stores, and reporting platforms
Lead or support data migrations from legacy platforms to modern data solutions
Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across development and production environments, including requirements gathering, data analysis, validation, and release management
Translate business needs into technical data and system requirements, ensuring alignment between business processes and analytics solutions
Partner with stakeholders to determine which data elements deliver the greatest business value and ensure those metrics are accurately represented in dashboards and reports
Design and maintain presentation-layer objects that enable intuitive reporting and support self-service analytics through enterprise BI tools or connectors
Perform ongoing database administration, including patching, upgrades, monitoring, and performance optimization
Analyze business requirements independently or in collaboration with business systems or BI analysts and produce detailed technical specifications
Act as a data subject matter expert, promoting data-driven decision-making and integrating analytics into existing or evolving business processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field required
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with enterprise data sources and developing production-level reporting and analytics solutions
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, software development life cycle (SDLC), and data quality assurance practices
Hands-on expertise with SQL Server (including recent versions), Azure-based SQL platforms, SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, or similar BI tools
Advanced SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
Experience designing database schemas, indexing strategies, and performance tuning solutions
Proven ability to design and implement ETL/ELT processes extracting data from multiple structured and semi-structured sources
Experience building and supporting batch and, where applicable, near–real-time data pipelines
Extensive data transformation, cleansing, and validation skills
Ability to maintain, optimize, and scale enterprise data warehouse solutions
Experience scheduling and automating data workflows
Familiarity with cloud-based data integration tools, including Azure Data Factory, is a plus
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to analyze complex data sets, interpret quantitative and financial information, and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
Nice to have:
Familiarity with cloud-based data integration tools, including Azure Data Factory, is a plus
