Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will manage and optimize database systems, ensuring they run efficiently while supporting critical business operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in database design, performance tuning, and recovery strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Optimize database performance through advanced tuning techniques to ensure efficient system operations
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity
Design and maintain database structures that align with business needs and technical requirements
Conduct thorough analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with various applications
Monitor database systems for reliability, scalability, and security
Manage ETL processes using SSIS to streamline data migration and transformation
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues
Implement and maintain Azure SQL and MySQL databases to support diverse business functions
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards

Requirements:

At least 7 years of experience in database administration and management
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database
Strong working knowledge of MySQL and Microsoft SQL
Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning and optimization techniques
Experience with SSIS ETL processes for data integration
Solid understanding of backup and recovery methodologies
Ability to design and analyze database structures to meet organizational needs
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Must be US Citizen or Green card
