Citi Cross-Asset Risk (XiP) team are looking for Database Administrators to join the Warsaw division of its core platform team! We're delivering Citi’s next-generation cloud-based risk calculation system. It's used widely by all businesses to fulfil daily market risk calculation and reporting obligations of traders, salespeople, risk managers, financial controllers and operations staff.
Job Responsibility:
Installation, configuration, management and monitoring of multiple database systems
Develop SQL and play a key role in performance tuning at all levels
Provide operational support to stakeholders
Be able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision both technically and on project delivery
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy, challenge decisions
Design database solutions that are in line with long-term business objectives while proactively seeking and recommending new external/internal technologies
Requirements:
Proven track record of success as a Database Administrator
Strongly desired (but not mandatory) experience in Kinetica and/or Tableau
Being well organized and able to keep a number of activities in progress in parallel, balancing priorities as necessary
A good team member and having ability to communicate clearly at all levels while working either individually or as a team player
Previous experience working with Agile projects
Experience in database technologies like Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo
Experience in any of: ELK Stack, Containers, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD
Knowledge of database development cycle
Nice to have:
