Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualisation and UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user‑centred data experiences that transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. This role combines strong visual design capability with a deep understanding of usability and data storytelling, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions through engaging dashboards and digital interfaces.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop interactive, visually engaging dashboards and reports using Power BI and related data visualisation platforms
  • Translate complex datasets into clear charts, graphs, and data stories that support business decision‑making
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all visual outputs
  • Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications with a strong focus on accessibility and usability
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to continuously refine designs
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, developers, and product managers to align design outcomes with business objectives
  • Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data visualisation and UI/UX design
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to existing dashboards and digital experiences

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Power BI and other data visualization tools, along with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledgeable in usability principles, information architecture, and user‑centred design methodologies
  • Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support UI implementation and collaboration with developers
  • A clear communicator who can explain design decisions effectively to diverse stakeholders
  • Educated to degree level in Graphic Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
