We’re looking for a hands-on Data & Tableau Specialist to support and enhance the Marketing Insights dashboard. This dashboard is a critical analytics product used to track marketing performance, engagement, and pipeline impact across technologies and campaigns. The role focuses on keeping data pipelines healthy, ensuring data quality, troubleshooting issues, and making ongoing improvements to reporting and dashboards. The ideal candidate enjoys working close to the data, understands how dashboards are powered, and can connect issues in reporting back to the underlying data sources.
Job Responsibility:
Support and monitor data orchestration workflows that feed the reporting data layer
Troubleshoot job failures, data delays, or metric issues, and provide clear analysis of root causes
Fix data issues, optimize SQL logic, and improve job performance where needed
Perform data audits when new data objects or attributes are introduced
Investigate data discrepancies by tracing issues from Tableau dashboards back to source systems
Understand end-to-end data lineage and help close gaps between source data and reporting outputs
Make enhancements to Tableau dashboards, including calculations, filters, and performance tuning
Support ongoing dashboard maintenance and help improve metric logic and usability
Document findings, fixes, and enhancements to ensure long-term clarity and consistency
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries (5-7 years)
Solid understanding of data analysis and data architecture, especially reporting data layers
Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop
Comfortable troubleshooting both data pipeline issues and dashboard-level problems
Ability to analyze data deeply and explain issues clearly to the team
Experience working independently and managing multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have:
Exposure to marketing, campaign, or pipeline analytics
Understanding of attribution models or marketing performance metrics
