An industry-leading data consultancy is seeking an experienced Data Strategy & Governance Lead to deliver a structured, insight-driven data maturity engagement for a key client. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, leading discovery, and producing high-quality, evidence-based outputs that guide long-term data maturity improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Strategy & Governance Lead to shape a critical data maturity programme and help tell the story of data across a complex organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver a structured, insight-driven data maturity engagement for a key client
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, leading discovery, and producing high-quality, evidence-based outputs that guide long-term data maturity improvement
  • Take accountability for delivering the end-to-end assessment—ensuring stakeholder alignment, methodological rigour, and clear, compelling storytelling that translates complex insights into actionable recommendations

Requirements:

  • Data governance frameworks & data maturity models (incl. public sector best practice)
  • Strategic consultancy & leading complex data-focused engagements
  • Facilitating discovery workshops across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Analysis & synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Power BI for visual storytelling and dashboard development
  • Producing high-quality written reports and clear Now / Next / Later recommendations
