This role is for a Data Solutions Sales Specialist responsible for driving storage sales in assigned territories, industries, or accounts. The specialist actively prospects new business, collaborates with the HPE team, and manages sales activities within the assigned region.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts
actively prospects new storage opportunities and cultivates opportunities within accounts
builds sales pipeline and drives opportunities to closure
formulates and expands solutions for up-selling to increase revenue
develops sales readiness and reduces client learning curve
collaborates with HPE teams to develop business, including end-to-end solutions
negotiates profitable deals
establishes professional and consultative relationships with clients
coordinates marketing campaigns for successful storage launches
uses internal sales tools for pipeline management.
Requirements:
University or Bachelor's degree preferred
demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interfaces with diverse business customers
typically 2-5+ years of sales experience
storage-related sales experience preferred
possesses expertise to assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective
demonstrates hunter mentality to actively pursue new business opportunities
possesses knowledge of digital and modern methods to connect and sell
in-depth knowledge about storage, service, cloud, solution, and differentiators between own offerings and competitors
solid communication and presentation skills
adequate understanding of financial acumen
ability to independently articulate technical solutions and commercial benefits.
