Job Description:

Data Services & Storage Presales Intern role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The intern will play a key part in assisting sales & presales colleagues, learn about HPE's business operations, shadow presales contributions to sales cycles, and take on reporting responsibilities. This is a 13-month placement starting July 2025.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist sales & presales colleagues in managing their sales opportunities
  • Learn about HPE company strategy, organisational structure, business and sales/presales governance, processes, and tools
  • Shadow presales contributions to sales cycles
  • Take on reporting responsibilities providing updates on sales/presales activity
  • Lead internal written communications for Presales leadership team
  • Drive engagement through channels such as Slack
  • Get involved in projects across the department
  • Manage corporate hospitality activities for customers, partners and distributers
  • Support with live sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must be in 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement
  • Expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2025 for 13 months
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
  • Keen to develop skills and interested in building a career in technology business operations or sales
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Organised and able to effectively manage time
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and database management
  • Fluent in English
