Data Security Governance Analyst

• Generate metrics and ensure productivity to guarantee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations are met
• Analyze and determine the root cause of issues and impacts to business to develop a corrective action plan
• Initiate the assessment, knowledge transfer, and transition of new security systems
• Ensure procedures are followed, define operating standards and processes and develop clear procedures and process control manuals
• Perform information security awareness and training activities
• Suggest improvement to process efficiencies
• Verify through testing that essential procedures are followed
• Provide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup

• 2+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience in Information Security (Data Protection, Cryptography, Data at Rest, Governance, etc)
• One or more industry-recognized certifications is highly preferred or a commitment to achieve certification within 12 months of joining
• Ability to articulate (written and verbally) complex technical or business concepts clearly to various audiences
• Proven analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify root causes and implement viable solutions
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges, and making informed decisions to drive efficiency
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
