As an Applied & Data Scientist in the IC3 Data Science team, you will help shape the future of intelligent communications by developing scalable ML, AI, and LLM solutions that directly impact billions of users worldwide. Your work will drive innovation and deliver measurable improvements in product quality, reliability, and user experience. This role requires close collaboration with Product Management and Data Engineering teams to understand underlying telemetry data and metrics, enabling data‑driven insights that inform product decisions and business impact, while also partnering with product teams to integrate advanced algorithms and models into globally deployed products, ensuring solutions are robust, reliable, and deliver reliable user experiences. You will train, tune, and evaluate models based on customer feedback and requirements, applying rigorous frameworks to measure and improve product quality, performance, and impact. Your work will directly contribute to the evolution of Microsoft’s communications platforms, empowering billions of users to connect and collaborate securely and effectively.
