A leading financial services organization is seeking a data-driven Data Scientist to join its Enterprise Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage customer, product, channel, and digital data to uncover opportunities that enhance consumer experience and drive business growth. You will translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Digital, and senior leadership. This position offers the chance to influence strategic decisions across the enterprise while working within a collaborative, high-performing analytics and data science group.
Job Responsibility:
Transform data from enterprise analytics tools into actionable insights related to customer behavior, digital sales, servicing performance, and value delivery
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Participate in cross-functional initiatives, providing opportunity analysis, measurement plans, dashboards, and post-release/testing analyses
Translate complex technical concepts into intuitive visualizations, dashboards, and presentations
Extract and analyze data using tools such as Python, R, and SAS
Build intuitive, automated dashboards with a focus on anomaly detection and actionable visualization
Partner with Digital, Marketing, Product, IT, Fraud, and Risk teams to evaluate initiatives and identify/mitigate risks
Develop and refine KPIs and metrics to assess digital and omnichannel performance
Create self-service assets that enable business partners to access and interpret data independently
Apply automation techniques to streamline manual analytical processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Decision Sciences, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or another STEM field
Master's degree completed by Spring 2025 in Computer Science or Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a STEM degree
or in lieu of a Master's degree, Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in analytics or data science
Experience with R, RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, NoSQL
Nice to have:
Experience developing and applying statistical or machine learning models using Python, R, or SAS
Advanced experience with R or Python
Programming experience with Java or C in a data mining context
Experience building web-based applications (HTML, CSS, Perl, JavaScript)
Exposure to web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, IBM Digital Analytics, Webtrends)
Familiarity with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or Adobe Target, including test design and statistical evaluation
