Data Scientist

• Be responsible for the core components of the model development process, from data wrangling, extraction and pre-processing in SQL or Python to Machine Learning model development, testing, and implementation
• Gather and communicate meaningful data insights to your project team
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and communicating insights through clear descriptions and visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI
• Develop, test, and implement Machine Learning models
• Conduct research on recent developments in Machine Learning and AI, with a focus on topics related to pricing, sales, and marketing
• Be a topic expert on Machine Learning and AI for your project team, enabling strong project planning and team performance
• See the real-life impact of your solutions on the fast-changing market and help further develop company’s analytical offerings
• Enable company and partners to become a thought-leader in the analytical applications for pricing, sales and marketing strategies due to your continued involvement and efforts

• Degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, statistics, operations research, data science, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years experience in a data science role
• Fluent in English
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Strong database querying ability in SQL
• Experience with pricing, demand forecasting, or time-series data
• Experience with Machine Learning and statistical modelling techniques
• Experience with data visualization software / libraries (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Ability to work with a team containing non-technical members
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to simply and concisely explain complex analytical topics
• Entrepreneurial spirit
