We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Glendale, CA, on a long-term contract basis. Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business challenges and optimize decision-making processes
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and mathematical modeling to uncover patterns and actionable insights
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala to design, test, and deploy data science solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for applying data science techniques to improve operations
  • Lead the preparation and cleaning of datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis and modeling
  • Apply expert knowledge of libraries like scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas to enhance machine learning workflows
  • Manage and optimize cloud database solutions, including Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, to support scalable data processing
  • Research and stay updated on emerging trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning to integrate best practices
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members in the application of data science techniques
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science with a proven record of leading successful projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, or Scala for data analysis and machine learning applications
  • In-depth expertise in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas
  • Strong foundation in machine learning technologies, statistical methods, and mathematical modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud database platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics or a related discipline is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner
