A top tier consultancy firm is currently seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced machine learning to drive tangible business value. This is a pivotal role where you will take ownership of the end-to-end model lifecycle-from initial conceptualisation and prompt engineering to production deployment. As a Data Scientist, you will act as the technical architect behind our AI solutions. You won't just be building models; you will be defining how AI transforms our operations.
Job Responsibility:
Work directly with stakeholders to understand their challenges, define what needs to be built, and set the benchmarks for a successful project
Select the best AI models and language frameworks for the job and design the training strategies to ensure the AI performs exactly as required
Build pipelines that gather and clean data, making sure everything used to train the AI is accurate and high-quality
Track how the models are performing using clear metrics
When things could be better, tweak the settings or data to boost accuracy and efficiency
Help get the AI out into the real world
Once it's live, you'll help set up automated checks to ensure it behaves correctly and handles unexpected situations smoothly
Be a key link between the technical work and the rest of the business, translating your findings into clear recommendations that everyone can follow
Requirements:
Strong experience with Machine Learning and LLMs (such as GPT or BERT)
Proficient in Python and standard ML libraries
Skilled at crafting and testing prompts to get the best out of AI models
Able to clean, process, and manage large datasets for training
Great at using metrics to track performance and fine-tune results
Experience taking models from the 'idea' stage through to a live environment
