Job Description:

Join NTT DATA as a Data Scientist in Bangalore, where you will leverage your expertise in data science and machine learning to drive insights and uncover business opportunities. With a focus on predictive analytics, data design, and statistics, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful analytic models. A master's degree is preferred, and candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in data science projects, along with proficiency in Python or R. Job Responsibility:

  • Driving new data insights to uncover business opportunities & revenue streams
  • Have a firm understanding of statistics and data visualization for communication
  • Understand business growth areas & how to utilize important data
  • Be responsible for identifying new analytic trends/data needs and repeatable analytic solutions
  • Able to work with key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using various supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms such as regression, classification or clustering
  • Be experienced in Data Wrangling and Dynamic Model Tuning
  • Working on projects leveraging expertise in data science, AI and machine learning
  • Assist in breaking down complex business problems, developing solutions, and delivering with high focus on client satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, develop a point-of-view and communicate effectively back to clients and stakeholders
  • Bring innovative thinking, resourcefulness leveraging best practices and creativity to achieve successful client outcomes
  • Establish relationships with clients, gain understanding of project work and problems encountered
  • Work with data sets of varying size and complexity including structured and unstructured data
  • Pipe and process massive data-streams in distributed computing environments
  • Implement batch and real-time model scoring
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
  • Apply business knowledge to analyze data, develop reports and solve problems
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of data depending on business needs
  • Participate in analysis and resolution of issues related to information flow and content with data stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting data science projects in a consulting environment
  • 4+ year(s) of experience participating in projects that focused on one or more of the following areas: Predictive Analytics, Data Design, Statistics, AI/ML, ML Ops
  • 3+ years of experience using Python and/or R to analyze disparate datasets
  • Ability to travel at least 25%
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Exercises sound judgment with minimal support from practice executives through structured problem identification, mitigation, and resolution
  • Team player with excellent work ethic, flexible attitude, and commitment to success
  • Professional verbal and written communication
