Job Description:

Sopra Steria is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team to provide advanced, data-driven solutions across various domains. The role involves working on cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the Data Science team in providing data-driven solutions to customers
Apply skills to real scenarios in domains such as drug discovery in healthcare, fraud detection in banks, development of recommendation systems in the retail sector, and more.

Requirements:

At least 3+ years of experience in Data Science
Master's degree (or equivalent through experience) in a field that is highly data-driven
Experience with some of the following data science techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning models, deep learning, anomaly detection, recommender systems, natural language processing, computer vision and reinforcement learning
Well versed in open-source software and libraries in Python and/or R for machine and deep learning
Extensive experience in building and implementing advanced analytics solutions backed up with some reference cases
Experience with big data and platforms such as Azure Machine Learning Services and Amazon SageMaker is a plus
Experience in one of the following languages: Python, R, Spark, Scala, Java or C++
You are resident in Belgium and look forward to working a few days a week at the client's office
You're fluent in Dutch or French, have a strong grasp of the other, and speak English fluently as well.

Nice to have:

Experience with big data and platforms such as Azure Machine Learning Services and Amazon SageMaker
Experience in one of the following languages: Python, R, Spark, Scala, Java or C++.
