Data Scientist

• automate related business processes with the help of data science methods like classification, clustering, or named entity recognition on text and images
• experiment with machine learning algorithms in the field NLP and manage training experiments with modern MLOps frameworks
• stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and discuss with the team how to use generative AI models like transformers
• analyze and preprocess related data pools, make decisions on the correct modeling and validate models
• embed models in production-ready microservices and integrate them autonomously into the existing product and software platform
• collaborate directly with IT developers and product managers in a cross-disciplinary team

• Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, data science, statistics, computer science, business informatics or related fields
• enthusiasm for the application of mathematics and machine learning technology to make financial products faster, better and even more convenient to use
• first experience and strong working knowledge in data wrangling, manipulation, visualization, machine learning, and deep learning using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, LightGBM, TensorFlow, etc.
• solid Python programming and software engineering skills
• ideally, experience with REST frameworks like FastAPI, and additional frameworks/tools such as Docker, Streamlit, MLflow, Grafana etc.
• creativity and curiosity to apply cutting-edge algorithms from the data science field to products
• high motivation to work in agile and cross-disciplinary teams and to share knowledge inside the data science community
• fluent spoken and written English skills
• German skills are beneficial but not mandatory
