Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Data Scientist to join our dynamic Analytics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will work on leveraging data to uncover opportunities for optimizing customer experiences and driving business growth. This position offers a chance to collaborate with diverse teams, including Product Marketing and senior leadership, and contribute to impactful decisions through data storytelling and visualization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and opportunities, providing actionable insights to enhance customer experience and business performance
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations through data storytelling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing and IT, to align data strategies with organizational goals
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to perform modeling and visualization tasks
  • Support the Digital and Omnichannel initiatives by synthesizing data into performance insights, enabling strategic decision-making
  • Participate in Agile project development, contributing to all phases of the analytics lifecycle from ideation to delivery
  • Monitor and measure the success of implemented initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance on data-driven strategies to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and methodologies in data science, applying them to improve processes and outcomes
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics deliverables

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling using tools such as Python, R, Tableau, or Adobe Analytics
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to stakeholders and leadership
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and Oracle for data processing and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of digital sales, customer behavior analytics, and performance metrics
  • Ability to work within Agile frameworks and manage projects through their lifecycle
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Engineering, or Analytics
