Join us as a Data Scientist VP - Research within our Investment Bank Research Central function. This Central Research team delivers actionable insights and innovative products to clients, helping them make informed investment decisions. As a Data Scientist, you will support the team’s objective of integrating data science into the investment process across a range of financial asset classes. This role requires proficiency in Python programming, the ability to develop and deploy machine learning models, and the application of advanced analytical techniques. Working alongside Research Analysts, you will produce detailed, data-led research that can be published and leveraged in client discussions. You will also contribute to broader Data Science initiatives, including the publication of standalone research focused on niche markets.

Requirements
Coding in Python, PySpark, R, SQL, or other scripting languages
Understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques
Considerable academic background in a quantitative or empirical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, or chemistry)
Experience applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and support investment research
Nice to have
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings and extract key insights from detailed models
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, and/or Power BI
Understanding of research methodologies and strategic approaches to investment research
