We are seeking a data-driven individual to join our analytics team in Pune, supporting Vodafone’s global businesses. This role is part of the VOIS organisation and focuses on delivering structured, data-backed solutions to business challenges using advanced analytics. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, outcomes, and processes, while leveraging existing models and driving innovation through evolving analytical techniques and technologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and deploy analytical solutions across descriptive, inferential, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
  • Reuse and adapt existing models and insights to generate business impact
  • Drive efficiency through automation and standardisation of analytics delivery
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by setting clear expectations and delivering actionable insights
  • Present analytical findings and model outcomes with impact assessments to business teams

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in predictive ML modelling on cloud big data platforms, having delivered 10+ models
  • Skilled in PySpark, Hive, classification, deep learning, H2O Auto-ML, feature engineering, AWS/GCP, and Git
  • Advanced SQL expert with experience handling datasets exceeding 10 million rows
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation, analytical, and logical reasoning skills
  • Must have hands-on experience with Python and statistical techniques
  • Proven track record in predictive modelling with tangible business impact
  • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data in large volumes
  • Experience in supervised and unsupervised ML/DL use cases including classification, forecasting, and regression

Nice to have:

Exposure to NLP, LLM, and GenAI is desirable
