Job Responsibility

  • Extracting knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques
  • Designing, developing and programming methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement
  • Integrating knowledge of business and functional priorities
  • Acting as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment
  • May lead teams or projects and shares expertise

Requirements

  • Proven 5+ years of commercial experience in creating, testing, deploying, monitoring and maintaining machine learning pipelines
  • Fluent with data manipulation and ML frameworks for EDA, feature extraction and development, modelling, hyperparameter tuning, experiment tracking and performance monitoring
  • Expertise in correlation analysis, classification / clustering techniques, anomaly detection and time series forecasting using either traditional or deep learning ML approaches
  • Strong Python background with the ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices including abstraction, exceptions handling, and testing to support long-term maintainability
  • Experience using SQL data exploration, feature extraction, and integration with analytical workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and products like Google VertexAI, BigQuery, CloudSQL, Compute Engine or similar solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to support, mentor, and guide junior to mid-level data scientists and machine learning engineers
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives etc
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Master's Degree
