Job Description:

Undergraduate internship in data science at CVS Health, working with analytics teams to support data-driven business decisions and contribute to mission of delivering industry's best data products. Focus on creating new opportunities that drive change across enterprise in areas such as customer experience, digital health, provider efficiency, patient safety, health care cost savings, clinical services, and fraud detection.

Job Responsibility:

Work with analytics teams and business partners to understand goals and objectives
Use programming skills, predictive/statistical modeling and analysis to analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Generate insights connecting analytical results with business problems/goals
Present recommendations to internal teams and business partners
Help design programs/campaigns to improve quality of health care, lower costs, and help members achieve their best health

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Knowledge of data science techniques including statistical analysis and modeling
Experience in R or Python
Experience in SQL

Nice to have:

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to clearly present technical concepts and implications to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred majors include Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics/Econometrics
