Job Description:

Drive innovation and solve critical airfield challenges through a data-driven approach. This role combines the expertise of a data scientist with the practical problem-solving of a systems engineer, requiring a deep understanding of airside systems, customer use cases, and the engineering principles behind our products.

Job Responsibility:

Leading the development of Airside 4.0 use cases
Creating and implementing algorithms to extract actionable insights from data and optimize airfield operations
Developing simulation models to test and validate solutions
Gaining deep knowledge of ADB Safegate's products and how they interact within the airfield ecosystem
Partnering with engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams
Collecting, processing, and analyzing data from airfield systems
Applying engineering and physics fundamentals to tackle complex airfield challenges
Acting as a subject matter expert in Airside 4.0 technologies and mentoring technical team members

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, algorithm development, system modeling, or engineering roles
Strong knowledge of engineering and/or physics principles
Proven experience in simulation and modeling techniques
Familiarity with sensor systems, IoT devices, and data collection/processing methodologies
Understanding of airfield operations and/or airport systems is highly desirable
Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python or MATLAB)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for innovation, technology, and continuous learning

Nice to have:

Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of airfield operations and/or airport systems
