Data Science Lead Analyst Generative AI (VP)

• Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies, and practices related to fairness and fair lending review for generative AI applications
• Develop methodologies to evaluate test and evaluate generative AI applications for compliance with fair lending regulations
• Assisting in the development and administration of Compliance training related to evaluation of generative AI applications for the supported function/business/product
• Researching any new reform rules and rule changes and implementing policies, procedures, or other controls necessary to comply with the rules related to generative AI algorithms
• Periodically re-validate processes to ensure validity, efficiency, and accuracy
• and to identify enhancement opportunities
• Develop and deepen Subject Matter Expertise in Fair Lending and Fairness regulations/laws as it relates to generative AI through internal, external, and on-the-job training
• Assisting with regulatory inquiries and/or examinations
• Prepare and present statistical results and data sets for analysis in support of regulatory requests and examinations
• Collaborating with other internal areas including Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions, and In-Business Risk to address compliance issues related to generative AI models and applications which may impact the supported function/business/product

• Model development experience – preferably with AI/ML methods in finance or banking
• Experience working in the explainable AI/ML field
• Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Python, SAS, Pyspark
• Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus
• Relevant certifications desirable
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
