Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts
Identify and define necessary system enhancements
Analyze and interpret code
Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities
Work in a distributed global team environment

Requirements:

4+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Experience in ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy
Strong experience in Python, Spark, SQL, Hive, Impala, Hadoop, Autosys
Data Analysis and Data Wrangling skills when dealing with Huge Volume(1B+ Transaction)
Performance analysis, troubleshooting and resolution including Cloudera Big Data(PySpark) ecosystem
Experience with Linux-based infrastructures and with CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication skills
Self-motivated individual with determination to achieve goals and a good team player
Experience in implementing AI or Generative AI solution will be an advantage
Understanding of capital markets and financial derivatives (rates or other)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and able to deliver quality results in the required timeframe

Nice to have:
