Data Science and Program Governance Analyst

• conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications and make strategic recommendations, develops data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis
• mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality
• deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to determine data required, assess time & effort required and establish a project plan
• consults with business clients to determine system functional specifications

• exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information

• appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• 5 plus years experience in business and data analysis, process improvement and project management
• possesses knowledge of PPM tools (Clarity/ fundamentals of Oracle people soft or any project tracking tool)
• proficient in MS Office applications, Excel, PPT, SharePoint, MS Project
• stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars
• manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
• manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them
• clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
• ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem solving techniques
• demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets
• PMP, CSM, Scrum or other relevant Project Management certifications are a plus.
