Job Description:

The Pensions Ombudsman is growing fast and is a great place to work. We have an exciting opportunity for a Data, Risk and Governance Officer to join our team based in Canary Wharf, where we currently operate an agile working policy of 20% office attendance and a flexible working culture. You will be working full or part-time on a 24 month fixed term contract and will receive a competitive salary of £33,310 per annum pro rata.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing support to the Information Governance Manager in responding to Freedom of Information requests and Subject Access Requests
  • Coordinating regular risk and assurance updates to the Executive, Corporate Board and DWP
  • Provide support to subject matter experts in responding to audit requests and other assurance-related requests for information
  • Supporting the Governance Manager in the delivery of regular Governance activities such as action trackers and update papers
  • Ensuring that TPO’s policies are managed and communicated effectively
  • Ensure an excellent standard of data quality and records management is in place across Corporate Services
  • Working flexibly across Corporate Services as necessary

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Prepared to be security cleared to Baseline Personnel Security Standard
  • Basic disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service
