Job Description

Join a massive, multi-year digital transformation revolutionising wealth management infrastructure. FinXL is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking / Wealth Management / Superannuation client on a key transformation engagement.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise automated reporting suites using Pentaho
  • Track migration milestones and operational performance through data analysis
  • Perform rigorous data validation to ensure integrity during system transitions
  • Reconcile data as it moves from legacy environments to the new target state
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence needs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows and reporting efficiency

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Pentaho for data integration and reporting is essential
  • Expert-level experience with Excel, specifically building complex Pivot Tables
  • Proven ability to manage and synthesise large, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail for data reconciliation
  • Background in Accounting or Finance is highly desirable
  • Professional qualifications such as a CA or CPA will be looked upon favourably
  • Experience working within large-scale digital integration or migration projects
