We are currently seeking a Data Privacy/Data Protection Lawyer to work with various Axiom clients across all industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide in-house legal advice on privacy, data-sharing, and EU AI Act compliance, assessing implications for new product offerings
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements with a focus on information law clauses, ensuring alignment with EU DSA regulations
  • Draft and advise on data protection-related documentation, including data processing agreements, data transfer agreements, data subject access requests, and data privacy impact assessments
  • Provide guidance on new compliance reporting and data tracking requirements, aligning with the EU AI Act and EU DSA
  • Oversee revisions to internal codes of conduct, ensuring adherence to the latest UK and EU privacy laws, including Data Protection Directive, GDPR, and relevant regulations

Requirements:

  • Good academic credentials and post-qualification experience (2-8PQE preferred)
  • In-house legal experience (directly, or as a secondee) or strong law firm experience supporting large corporations
  • Strong commercial understanding, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK and eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK
