Job Description

The Data Program & Delivery Manager will lead complex data and AI programs, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction. With over 10 years of experience, the candidate will manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee financial performance. Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and govern large-scale data, analytics, and AI programs from initiation through delivery and steady-state operations
  • Manage multiple workstreams across data engineering, analytics, platform architecture, AI/ML, and governance
  • Establish and maintain program governance, delivery cadence, risk management, and dependency tracking
  • Ensure consistent delivery excellence across Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models as appropriate
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams of 20+ resources, including architects, engineers, analysts, data scientists, and program managers
  • Build high-performing teams through clear accountability, performance management, coaching, and career development
  • Partner with resource management and leadership to ensure optimal staffing, onboarding, and capacity planning
  • Act as the primary client-facing leader, managing expectations with executive and senior stakeholders
  • Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans and technical roadmaps
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations while maintaining strong client trust and transparency
  • Facilitate executive steering committees, status reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Own program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, and cost controls
  • Track and manage burn, utilization, and scope changes to ensure financial performance aligns with targets
  • Support contract management, change requests, and commercial negotiations in partnership with sales and leadership
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and oversight across modern data architectures, analytics and BI enablement, AI / ML and GenAI solutions, data governance, quality, lineage, and security
  • Review and guide solution designs to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with industry best practices
  • Advise clients on data strategy, platform modernization, and AI adoption, including use case prioritization and value realization
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in data, analytics, and AI, and apply them pragmatically to client solutions
  • Drive delivery excellence through standardization, accelerators, reusable assets, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, solution quality, and client outcomes
  • Contribute to internal thought leadership, whitepapers, playbooks, and community forums

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI programs
  • Proven experience leading large delivery teams (20+ resources) across multiple disciplines
  • Strong background in technical program or delivery management within complex environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing program financials, budgets, and commercial performance
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures, analytics platforms, and AI/ML concepts
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience engaging director, VP, and executive-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
