Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Salsify Administrator & Product Information Manager to own and manage all aspects of product content and data syndication via the Salsify platform for the brands Pit Boss, Charbroil and Oklahoma Joes. This role will serve as the single point of accountability for maintaining, optimizing, and distributing product information across all sales, product and marketing channels, while collaborating closely with product, marketing, sales, creative, IT, and e-commerce teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer and maintain the Salsify platform, including data models, property configurations, and digital asset management
  • Serve as the platform expert and liaison for all things Salsify—ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and accuracy
  • Configure and manage product taxonomies, families, and templates to streamline product setup and updates
  • Audit and cleanse product data on a recurring basis to ensure compliance with brand, retailer, and regulatory standards
  • Manage and optimize content syndication to multiple retail and DTC channels (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Shopify, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve syndication and feed errors, collaborating with platform support and internal teams as needed
  • Maintain and improve syndication readiness scores and channel health metrics
  • Troubleshoot data flow and mapping issues between Salsify and upstream/downstream systems such as Arena, SAP, Shopify, etc.
  • Partner with product, sales and marketing teams to understand evolving data and content needs
  • Support digital merchandising initiatives by ensuring accurate and rich content across all endpoints
  • Develop and continuously improve internal workflows for content creation, approval, and syndication
  • Document data standards, naming conventions, and platform best practices
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing training to internal teams on how to use or request changes via Salsify
  • Monitor data completeness, data quality, and performance across channels
  • Build dashboards and reports to track the status of product content syndication and identify improvement areas
  • Recommend and implement new Salsify features and automations to increase efficiency

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years experience in product content management, eCommerce operations, or PIM systems (preferably Salsify)
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, content hierarchies, and digital shelf requirements
  • Experience managing large datasets with meticulous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with retailer-specific content standards (e.g., Amazon A+ content, Walmart listings, etc.)
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • familiarity with data import/export processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines independently

Nice to have:

  • Experience with additional tools such as DAMs, ERPs, or CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, NetSuite, SAP)
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus
  • Project management experience (Agile, Asana, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Previous experience supporting omnichannel product launches
