Partner with the Group Product Manager to maintain the data product vision, roadmap and backlog with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
Translate business questions into metric definitions, data models and scalable self-service data products.
Collaborate with App & Web Architects to ensure accurate tagging of key user events in mobile apps (e.g., GA4)
Coordinate with Data Engineering to integrate mobile apps and retail loyalty datasets for a unified end-to-end customer journey.
Monitor data pipelines, investigate quality issues and implement automated validation, alerting and remediation processes.
Operationalize data governance, privacy and security requirements
Maintain the data catalog and lineage documentation to support discovery
Define and enforce data contracts, SLAs and schema-change processes with source teams.
Liaise with Performance Analytics to deliver certified datasets on time for monthly leadership dashboards and ad-hoc reporting.
Conduct stakeholder interviews to confirm data readiness for key insights and dashboards.
Partner with product managers to validate data availability and quality for priority business questions.
Identify opportunities to enrich datasets using internal systems and reputable external sources.
Track competitive benchmarks for mobile app performance and surface insights that inform product innovation.
Drive data-product adoption: create enablement guides, run demos, maintain FAQs, collect feedback and support change communications.
Requirements:
Advanced degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
7+ years of experience across one or more areas: data engineering, data analytics, or data stewardship.
3+ years of experience working with mobile and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, BigQuery)
experience with loyalty program data is a strong plus.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations, including GDPR.
