Are you looking for a new challenge? Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance? Prima could be the place for you. Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 5 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain. To help fuel that growth, we need a talented Data Product Manager to help us define the future of how Claims Data is collected and published. Our Claims data products power our most important business functions: our risk models, financial performance, the claims operations themselves. You will be a key contributor to such a fundamental area of our business. Partnering closely with the Area Data Engineering Manager, other Data PMs and Data Platform teams, you will curate and drive some of our key data products, ensuring that the information we capture is deeply accessible and actionable for business leaders, data analysts, fellow Product Managers, and our Data Science team, all while respecting our company Data standards.

Own the Data Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end process of Data Product development, from initial discovery and modelling to monitoring performance and impact
Drive Data Product discoverability and self-serving: support self-serving of Data Products, by continuously improving the tools (e.g., data catalog, data dictionary), and the Data Product consumer orientation
Manage data quality + change: define quality checks, monitoring, and alerting, communicate breaking changes proactively
Foster a Data Culture: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights, ensuring that every product decision is backed by solid data evidence

Strategic Coordination: You excel at managing complex dependencies and demanding Product Stakeholders. You can align with an Infrastructure peer on technical constraints while keeping business stakeholders focused on the value proposition
Technical Fluency: Previous experience in a technical hands-on role such as Data Analysis, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or Software Developer. You are comfortable discussing APIs, data pipelines, and machine learning workflows with engineers and data scientists without getting lost in translation
Communication & Leadership: You can tell a story with data, persuading others and driving consensus across different departments and seniority levels
Nice to have:
AI/ML Exposure: Direct experience shipping products that involve LLMs, or predictive modeling
Multi-market Experience: A global mindset with experience launching or managing products across different countries (we operate in Italy, UK, Spain)
