Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you: Within the Distribution & Hotel Services Tribe of the Data division, we are looking for a Data Product Director to define the vision and roadmap for our data products, including, in particular, a key focus on integrating Artificial Intelligence capabilities. You will build a long-term working relationship with your business counterparts and all key stakeholders in the data ecosystem to ensure that the roadmap aligns with business ambitions and creates value for the Accor Group. You will work closely with the technical lead for your scope (Data Engineering Director) to define the roadmap, in line with the strategic business and data objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Define, steer and develop the product strategy and data usage, in collaboration with the Data Engineering Director for the functional area
  • Work with business contacts to identify opportunities to leverage data in support of strategic and operational objectives
  • Work closely with the Data Science & AI teams to design, develop and deploy intelligent models and algorithms within our products
  • Draw up the roadmap for the development and continuous improvement of products and services and act as the functional lead for this
  • In partnership with the Data Engineering Director, work on packaging and marketing the product offering to clients
  • Work in partnership with other Data Product Directors, Data Product Managers and Product Owners, as well as the Data Engineering and Data Management teams, to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget, and to monitor the quality of products delivered to users
  • Lead steering committees and communicate on the strategy, adoption plans and product improvements for the products under your responsibility
  • Define metrics for tracking product value and report on the achievement of objectives within your functional area
  • Manage the team of Product Owners for whom you have managerial responsibility

Requirements

  • Graduate of a top engineering school (general engineering or IT) or holder of a Master’s degree specialising in Big Data
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Data or BI Product Manager in the development of data platforms and associated products and/or data applications
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Knowledge of database structures and data ingestion, integration and modelling processes
  • A strong understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence and statistics, and their application in tangible products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong ability to articulate ideas clearly, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to synthesise information and communicate in an accessible manner
  • Analytical skills, proactive in proposing solutions to resolve problems or optimise the product
  • Fluent in French and English

Experience in the hotel distribution sector is a plus
