Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Data Processor to join our Birmingham department, specialising in the processing and interpretation of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), PAS128-compliant utility surveys, and Topographic survey data. This role is ideal for someone with experience in geospatial data processing who is looking to advance within a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high‑quality subsurface and survey datasets, collaborating closely with project managers and field teams.
Job Responsibility:
Process Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data to produce clear, accurate interpretations
Deliver outputs aligned with PAS128 survey standards
Assist in the post‑processing of additional geophysical datasets as required
Manage and organise datasets for allocated projects
Conduct quality control checks on all processed utility data
Process topographic survey data from total station, GNSS, and other field sources
Produce high‑quality CAD deliverables to internal and client specifications
Validate field survey information and liaise with field teams to resolve data queries
Maintain accurate records of processed datasets and survey documentation
Ensure all work meets internal QA standards and client requirements
Identify and communicate anomalies or issues in data promptly
Contribute to workflow improvements, innovation, and technology adoption
Support report writing and preparation of project deliverables
Work collaboratively across teams to achieve project deadlines
Any other duties required by the business
Requirements:
Experience processing GPR, utility mapping, or geophysical datasets
Strong understanding of PAS128 methodologies and utility survey workflows
Experience with topographic survey data processing (total station/GNSS)
Competence in CAD (AutoCAD or MicroStation preferred)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail
Good communication skills for liaising with project managers and field teams

Background in surveying, geomatics, geophysics, engineering, or related field
