Job Description

As a Data Processing Technician, you will perform basic data processing tasks under supervision and with guidance. You’ll perform duties such as supporting basic data processing activities, performing routine data entry and verification tasks, assisting in organizing and cleaning datasets to meet mission requirements, and frequent collaboration with team members to ensure accurate and timely data processing as the mission evolves. As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, you will collaborate closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs while wrangling from their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of the data, but you also advise on industry standards and how to exploit the resources to positively impact our national security space mission.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform basic data processing tasks under supervision and with guidance
  • Support basic data processing activities
  • Perform routine data entry and verification tasks
  • Assist in organizing and cleaning datasets to meet mission requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely data processing
  • Monitor various processing requirements
  • Perform troubleshooting tasks on issues impacting the system or data
  • Monitor system performance and hardware resources to ensure effective processing
  • Collaborate with tier 2 and tier 3 support entities to solve critical system issues
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their questions and needs
  • Wrangle from data-rich environments
  • Provide a deep understanding of the data
  • Advise on industry standards and how to exploit the resources to positively impact our national security space mission

Requirements

  • Experience performing basic data processing tasks
  • Knowledge of intelligence production
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely data reporting
  • Ability to work a 24/7 shift rotation
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ yrs of experience working at a ground station or working with signals intelligence, or 4+ years of experience with working at a ground station or with signals intelligence in lieu of a degree
