Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Privacy Attorney to provide part‑time, interim support in connection with the company’s recent global acquisition activity. The ideal candidate will bring senior‑level data privacy expertise and the ability to both execute day‑to‑day privacy work and think strategically about broader, programmatic privacy issues across a multinational organization. This role is well suited for a experienced privacy lawyer interested in flexible, part‑time engagement supporting a complex international business. Duration: Open‑ended / Contract. Hours: 20+ hours per week. Location: Fully Remote (Central or Eastern Time preferred). Pay Rate: $100-$125 per hour (DOE).

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide strategic guidance on global data privacy implications across U.S., UK, Europe, Australia, Canada, and Mexico operations
  • Update and revise vendor and commercial agreements to incorporate GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy provisions
  • Review and update privacy notices, policies, and data protection documentation
  • Analyze business units and workflows to identify data privacy exposure and risk
  • Support privacy compliance efforts in connection with institutional / B2B customers
  • Train and advise internal legal teams on evolving data privacy requirements
  • Contribute to broader privacy and governance frameworks, including intersections with AI and emerging technologies
  • Assist with internal education and training efforts beyond legal stakeholders, as needed

Requirements:

  • Licensed attorney in any US jurisdiction (Must be active and in good standing)
  • Senior-level attorney with substantial experience advising on data privacy matters
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and global data protection regimes
  • Prior in-house experience strongly preferred, with a commercial and business-oriented mindset
  • Experience supporting institutional or corporate clients (vs. consumer retail environments)
  • Comfortable operating both hands-on (document drafting, updates) and strategically
  • Experience advising organizations with international operations
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
