Job Description:

The Data Owner Lead Analyst is responsible for day-to-day activities of the data strategy at the business/function level by ensuring that data is compliant with Regulations, Laws, and Citi Policies, Standards & Procedures to reduce and manage Citi's data risk. They will assist in implementing the Data Strategy, architecture Target State, and executing the data delivery roadmap for Authoritative Data Sources.

Job Responsibility:

Execute critical processes of data governance policy and data strategy
Ensure deep understanding of the business' key data, data processes, and data flows
Facilitate day-to-day activities to drive key Data Owner program/project deliverables
Partner with data consumers to agree on scope of critical data quality challenges
Regularly monitor and report Data Concerns
Partners with colleagues within business/functions and data technology teams
Support Data Stewards to drive end-to-end management
Assist with alignment of key data capabilities
Escalate potential barriers to timely execution
Identify issues, challenges, and risks

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience in banking and financial services industry
Experience with data management processes and tools and applications
Strong knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, data management
Strong understanding of data governance issues, policies, regulatory requirements
Demonstrated relationship management and advisory skills
Good presentation skills, business and technical writing
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and able to dynamically determine priorities
Actively managed various aspects of data initiatives
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
