Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Officer to join our team at Oasis Academy Brightstowe. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and effective use of data across the Academy. If you enjoy problem-solving, have excellent IT skills, and want to make a real impact in education, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead on the development, maintenance, and management of the Academy’s MIS (Bromcom)
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with statutory requirements, including School Census and GDPR
  • Produce accurate reports and analysis to support senior leaders and teaching staff in raising standards
  • Oversee the Academy assessment cycle and publish academic reports to parents
  • Support the construction and maintenance of the Academy timetable
  • Deliver training to staff on data systems and processes

Requirements:

  • Strong IT and data management skills, with experience in MIS systems
  • Can manipulate and present data clearly and accurately
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Great communication skills and can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
  • Legal right to work in the UK for the duration of employment
  • Fluency in spoken English
