Job Description:

Join us as a Data Modeller within Chief Data Analytics Office, where you will support the delivery of high‑quality logical data models across assigned data domains. This role focuses on hands‑on modelling, collaboration, and supporting governance outcomes in a regulated Corporate Banking environment. You will work closely with data architects, engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to develop logical data models that accurately reflect business requirements and align with enterprise standards. Working as part of a wider team, you will take ownership of specific domains, helping to ensure data structures are consistent, well‑defined, and fit for purpose. This role requires advanced collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a change‑driven environment, contributing to both delivery and governance objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the delivery of high‑quality logical data models across assigned data domains
  • Hands‑on modelling, collaboration, and supporting governance outcomes in a regulated Corporate Banking environment
  • Work closely with data architects, engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to develop logical data models that accurately reflect business requirements and align with enterprise standards
  • Take ownership of specific domains, helping to ensure data structures are consistent, well‑defined, and fit for purpose
  • Analysis and documentation of business requirements to translate them into data models aligned with organisational goals
  • Development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage
  • Analysis and monitoring of data usage patterns to identify opportunities for data optimisation and improvement
  • Strategic architecture definition and product selection
  • Production of logical designs in relevant subject area
  • Implementation of architectures and identification, ownership and resolution of design related issues
  • Definition and documentation of data architectures standards, principles and strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience creating logical data models for assigned domains, including defining entities, attributes, relationships, and definitions
  • An understanding of critical data elements and data usage within a complex Corporate Banking or regulated environment
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, ensuring data models are accurate, consistent, and aligned with agreed standards
  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking products, processes, and data flows
  • Experience using ER Studio or other data modelling tools
  • Experience working in a regulatory, governance, or control‑focused environment
