Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to drive end-to-end data migration for SAP S/4HANA implementations within SCM and Finance domains. This role is accountable for the quality, accuracy and reliability of migrated data, leading data analysis, mapping and transfer activities while working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and local experts. Based at EON, Pune, the role reports to Ashwin Deshmukh and plays a critical part in the EVO Application Development team.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver data migration initiatives for SAP S/4HANA systems across multiple modules
  • Analyse business requirements and define appropriate data management approaches aligned to business needs
  • Oversee data analysis, mapping, validation and transfer activities to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Identify data and system integration challenges and design practical, sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate effectively with local subject matter experts, technical teams and the wider business community
  • Explain data migration processes clearly to end users and business stakeholders, supporting understanding and adoption

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in data migration concepts, covering end-to-end data processes, including technical and governance activities
  • Strong understanding of newly introduced data services within SAP S/4HANA
  • 6–8 years’ experience in a lead role managing data migration in SAP environments
  • Proven experience leading and supporting teams in complex delivery environments
  • Clear, confident and inclusive communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have

  • Sound understanding of SCM and Finance business processes
  • Experience supporting innovation initiatives and managing change in large transformation programmes
