The Data Migration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing data migration solutions to support ERP data transformation into Oracle Cloud. The role ensures data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently, maintaining data integrity, quality, and compliance in accordance with business transformation rules. This role works closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and project team to deliver reliable and auditable data migration.
Job Responsibility:
Designing, developing, and executing data migration solutions to support ERP data transformation into Oracle Cloud
Ensuring data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently, maintaining data integrity, quality, and compliance in accordance with business transformation rules
Working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and project team to deliver reliable and auditable data migration
Requirements:
ERP Oracle 11i or R12 Development, including custom tables, packages, concurrent programmes, error handling, workflow builder
Experience migrating data from one ERP to another
Experience of analysing and cleansing data in source (writing data fixes) and support data reconciliation
Experience gathering requirements from business users and writing functional/ technical specifications
Experience developing integrations between ERP and other applications, including error handling / reprocessing (use of standard API’s and open interface tables)
Knowledge of eBusiness Suite Financials (AR, AP, FA, GL, Project) Modules. SCM/Manufacturing bonus.
Knowledge of performance tuning techniques (use of indexes, materialised views, modifying explain plan, hints)
Some knowledge of Oracle Fusion OIC and FBDI templates helpful
