This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for transforming how data is defined, managed, and leveraged across the business. As Data Manager, you will own the enterprise data roadmap and serve as a strategic partner to leadership across e-commerce, supply chain, retail, customer insights, product development, and buying/planning. You will play a critical role in: Establishing a single source of truth across departments; Improving data integrity and governance; Migrating the organization away from spreadsheet-heavy workflows; Building scalable systems and infrastructure to deliver faster, more reliable insights; Elevating analytics maturity across all functional teams. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic leadership and cross-functional influence.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with stakeholders across e-commerce, supply chain, retail, customer insights, and merchandising
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured data problems
Deliver descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive insights that drive measurable business impact
Present findings through clear data storytelling that influences decision-making
Build and scale systems that ensure high product data integrity
Reduce reliance on spreadsheets by implementing more powerful, sustainable solutions
Leverage modern data platforms such as BigQuery, Looker, and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse
Define and enforce governance, master data management, and reporting standards
Develop and execute a forward-looking data roadmap
Identify structural improvements to accelerate insight delivery
Increase speed and quality of execution across data initiatives
Raise analytics capability and technical acumen across teams
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics
Background in Retail, Merchandise Planning/Buying, or Supply Chain/Logistics environments
Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries from scratch
Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling
Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Excel
Experience building scalable data systems and productionizing tools
Strong predictive modeling expertise across the full modeling lifecycle
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfort operating independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
